How to bring people back from the dead! What to do in the first 6-8 minutes, until Paramedics arrive.

BREAKOUT DESCRIPTION:

We will provide an overview of our 88-minute in class presentation for your students where we cover more than just Hand’s only CPR. Your students will learn basic safety and rules, Patient Assessment Skills, FBAO (Foreign Body Airway Obstruction Relief), CPR, and the use of an AED for all ages. We have 40 adult/child manikins and 40 infant manikins to we keep everyone engaged through the entire class.

Matt Birch is the Owner and lead instructor for Advanced CPR Training LLC. This company has provided CPR training for multiple school districts since 2005. Matt is a retired Paramedic/Firefighter who worked for West Jordan Fire for over 20 years. He also worked 5 years in the Emergency Department at Jordan Valley Medical Center and 13 years for AirMed.  Through these years of working as both an EMT and Paramedic, Matt has seen the value of bystander CPR and/or a good patient assessment and care before medical professionals arrive. All our other instructors are either health care and/or education professionals.
